Are You A Tall Rider? Check Out The Next Time You Go Jacket Shopping

This world wasn’t built for tall people. Ironically, it wasn’t built for short people either. The average height of a man is 5ft 8-9in while the average height for a woman is 5ft 2-3in. So unless a person is in the very middle of the average height, something tells me that everyone who does not conform to the standard height has a very difficult time looking for jackets that look amazing and also fit their body without being too small or too large. Buying clothes can be a pain, but shopping becomes especially hurtful when you find an article of clothing you instantly fall in love with, only to try it on and realize that it is far too small for you!!

Every cool article of clothing I've ever found is far too big on me since I'm a very short person. But I know a few tall motorcycle riders and their biggest pet peeve is finding a great men's leather motorcycle jacket, only to slip it on and realize that the end of the sleeve is near their elbow! And they have the same issue with their pants! Tall people will put on a great pair of mens leather biker pantsand the bottom of the pant leg stops around their knee!

When tall people go shopping for a jacket, they have to try on every jacket to ensure they don't look like they're wearing a mini jacket costume as if they are to perform on stage like a Michael Jackson impersonator.

If It's difficult for you, a tall person, to find a great jacket, here are some features and details to look for on your next jacket shopping trip.

Length versus width

A jacket not designed for tall people could have serious length issues. The sleeves can be too short. Or there is not enough material around the chest for the zipper to close. Another issue could be that the rim of the jacket barely passes a tall person’s belly button.

Shoulders

When a tall person needs a good brown leather motorcycle jacket, they have to watch for how the material gathers around the shoulders. The jacket should not squeeze the shoulders. The material should rest on the top of the shoulder.

Skinny vs. Thick

A tall person can have broad shoulders and a thick middle, but what if their arms are too thick for the jacket sleeves? When trying out a motorcycle protective jacket, move your elbows and raise your hands above your head. Then raise your arms horizontally so you spread out your full arm span. If the jacket tugs and restricts your movement, it is not the right size.

Be sure to purchase your motorcycle jacket before you get back on your motorcycle. Not only will a well-made armored motorcycle jacket keep you safe from the elements and the UV rays of the sun, but it will also protect you in the event of a crash. Looking up motorcycle crashes is gruesome. But if you ever do, you will see that quite a large number of crashes become especially terrible because the rider of the motorcycle didn't have the appropriate gear. Therefore, you must realize that
How Purchasing Fake Gear Can Ruin Your Motorcycle Riding Experience?

But we understand why many motorcyclists don't want to buy new jackets and it's because of the cost. But at Wicked Stock, you will find high-quality jackets at discount prices! Wicked Stock has sales every month so its low prices drop even lower!

If you're curious about its latest fashions, head over to Wickedstock'sFacebook, Twitter, and Instagram page! Check out all of their clothes and read all of the amazing reviews their fans say about them!

Travel By Motorcycle And Do It Cheap

Want to spend like a skinflint (cheap) on your next motorcycleroad trip? Well, here are some tips and tricks that were learned by trial and error that can keep the cost of traveling at a minimum. When applied they might just stretch your dollar and miles farther.

Planning:

Planning well ahead of the travel date can be a time and money saver. Your motorcycle road trip plan should include how long the trip will take, how many miles will be traveled, and the overall cost.Knowing the cost of the trip fuel, food, lodging, tolls, other costs, etc… every expense should be calculated.

Knowing the distance each motorcycle can travel on a tank of fuel is part of the planning equation.Planning includes repairing or replacing needed equipment before the trip. You will need time to assemble or buy new gear or clothing, get the motorcycle serviced, etc...This is a good time to get a new pair of Men's Leather Motorcycle Pants to look your best.Who you are traveling with should be a consideration in planning the trip. There may be someone going on the trip who may need more frequent stops than other riders may require. To sum up the planning phase of your motorcycle road trip: Leave Nothing Overlooked.

Next: Where To Stay

If you want to stay in hotels/motels your road trip will become much more expensive. Even if you stick with a $30-50 a night room, a ten-day trip will run you $300-500 just for lodging. A quick survey on booking.com revealed varying rates for a one-night stay at one location; low $60 and high $280.With rates like that, why have a budget? This is where sticking to a budget is important, places to stay can add up real fast.

Try Camping

Far Better Than A Motel

Plan your trip around places where you can camp out, sleep under the stars, cook over an open campfire, etc… Some campgrounds are free, others charge a small fee to use the campsite. Many have showers, are well-groomed, and include areas where one can cook a good hot meal. Try overlander to find campsites that are close to your intended trip route. So, as part of that pre-plan of your trip break out the old camping gear, and camp cook set they will come in handy. While you are at it get a hold of a pair of motorcycleRain Pants With Side Zippers just in case of wet weather.

Book Ahead

If you feel compelled to stay at hotels/motels, at least for part of thetrip, book in advance.A good way to save on lodging is to use the hotel/motel’s website and book directly, they will often cut deals for early bookings.Don’t forget to check out Bed and Breakfasts on AirBnB as well. Also, try booking.com or Expedia to find out what is available and the rates.Parking can become an issue especially if you use hotels/motels, they often charge a parking fee even for customers. So, check with the facility when booking.

What and Where to Eat – Food

Bring food from home, fresh fruit and vegetables, make your sandwiches and so on. Shop at grocery stores along the travel route to stock up on fruit, veggies, and other healthy foods.Bring a compact cooler with you to store the fresh food during your motorcycle road trip.Stay hydrated, bring water, drink often, and keep your water bottles filled.

Fast food and junk food tend to cause drowsy driving, stay alert.Healthy foods keep one's energy levels up as operating a motorcycle is a full-time job when on the road. Is It Important To Wear Motorcycle Protective Gear? Yes, you are always at risk of not being seen by the drivers of the 4wheel cars, so, wear all the gear all of the time. safety first.

Don't Over Pack

Don’t pack a lot of clothing, motorcycle saddlebags do not have a lot of room, so pack light, hit the laundry when needed(budget for it).Do make room for a new Leather Motorcycle Jacket, you need to look good on this motorcycle road trip.Your motorcycle will have to carry everything you are taking plus one or two riders to manage the space wisely.

There you have it, a rough guide to traveling on a budget for your next motorcycle road trip. As always like us on Facebook, check us out on Instagram and tweet us on Twitter, ride safe. To check out the latest in motorcycle accessories hop on over Wicked Stock!

Sometimes, Riding Your Motorcycle Is Not As Easy As It Should Be

Riding on the back of a motorcycle is empowering and allows the riders to feel as if they can go anywhere. But unfortunately, this amazing and liberating feeling may not be accessible to people who are riding during a period of poor health. There could be many reasons why a person who once had no problem riding for hours on end now has to struggle to ride their beloved motorcycle for 20 minutes without becoming achy and winded.

Developing arthritis in the knees, back, hands, elbows, and joints can be one factor that reduces your ability to ride a motorcycle. Other reasons could be due to general failing health, a motorcycle or a car crash wound that is not healing correctly, or dizziness. And maybe you should know How Does High Blood Pressure Affect Riding?

What can you do to improve your motorcycle riding ability?

First, lose any extra weight if you have a bit of a tummy. It is common in the motorcycle world for riders, both men and women, to be thicker, especially around the middle. But did you know that the fat around our stomach and our hips is the type of fat that causes inflammation in the body. Inflammation can cause diseases, or it can increase the damage that pre-existing diseases are already doing to the body. Not only that, but more weight on your body also means that you have to use more strength from your muscles in order to stay upright when riding your motorcycle. We suggest losing around 25 lb to start. Then, you should be able to see a difference in your body when you finish riding.

Next, you should exercise more. Now you may be thinking, what does exercising have to do with motorcycle riding. Well, your muscles stay tense whenever you are riding on the back of a motorcycle. So maybe you don't have the endurance you once had that allowed you to ride for hours at a time. If you started riding motorcycles when you were young, like in your twenties, and now you're in your forties, this is a very common experience. Older motorcyclists need to keep up their body strength and stamina. So, it is time for you to hit the gym!

If you lose weight and you exercise but you're not really seeing any improvement, it's time to go to the doctor. Well, similar to having a good gear store from where you can buy a leather motorcycle jacket or a pair of leather motorcycle gloves, it is always a good idea to go to the doctor for your good riding health. Pain and loss of endurance or stamina is a sign that you need to see a medical expert so they can find out what is going on with your body. Even if the answer is just that you are getting older, the doctor can help you by testing out your vitamin and nutritional levels to see what you are lacking in your diet.

The most common nutrient for the entire world to lack is vitamin D. If the doctor says that you are lacking in vitamin D, you'll be surprised at how amazing you feel in a month or so when you actively take vitamin D pills. It's literally like night and day. The starting healthy point for vitamin D levels is around 50, but some people have vitamin D levels all the way down in the single digits. So, if you can, tell your doctor about your symptoms and ask them to test your vitamin and nutrient levels in your body. You'll be much happier when they do.

Get yourself some new gear!

But before you improve your health and get back on your motorcycle, you need to have all of the motorcycle gear to keep you protected. Not a good idea to improve your health only to endanger yourself by getting in a crash with absolutely no protective gear. Maybe you can reward yourself with new gear i.e.leather motorcycle pantsafter using some weight. If you're looking for a place to buy an amazing gear that is affordable, you will want to go to Wicked Stock.com. You can also check out their Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to see how many fans they have and learn about their upcoming sales.

Talk And Ride: Motorcycle Rider To Rider Communication

Ever been on a motorcycle ride with friends where you had to pull over and talk face to face. How antiquated, either you use hand signals, a prearranged stopping point, or shout at the top of your lungs to get heard.Everyone seems to be connected electronically to everyone they know and so should you while on a motorcycle ride. You need to be able to communicate with other riders while on the road. Speaking of being on the road don’t forget to show off your new Mesh Motorcycle Jacket.Motorcycle communications come in a variety of technical devices, Bluetooth, walkie-talkies, two-way radios, and so on.

What Comm System Is Best For You As A Motorcycle Rider?

Let’s take a look at the Bluetooth intercom for motorcycle riders.

Some motorcycle helmets have Bluetooth headphones built-in.

Make voice-activated phone calls with Bluetooth.

Use GPS and get electronically spoken directions through a Bluetooth headset.

Use Bluetooth intercom connections with other riders in the group to make direction changes, call for a rest stop, etc…

Bluetooth technology is not new; it has been around for some time in wireless communications. Only recently has Bluetooth technology been adapted to motorcycle rider-to-rider communications.Bluetooth technology has been applied to two-way radio frequencies, creating driver to rider and bike to bike communication systems. The range is not measured in miles but rather in hundreds of feet to maybe a half a mile, they will work the bugs out in time.To be seen at a distance ride your motorcycle wearing the American Eagle Jackets Men's.Rather than boring you with more technical jargon, let’s review some motorcycle intercom Bluetooth devices.

There are 5 Motorcycle Communication Systems You Need To Look Atfor motorcycle riders to use for group rides other than wired radios. There you have a rather shortened version of communication device ideas while on a group motorcycle ride or while riding with a passenger. A motorcycle ride is much more enjoyable when you have been able to talk with the other riders in the group. Motorcycle Gear Storage -The Power Of The Saddlebag!

I love my motorcycle. I love the feelings I experienced whenever I sit on the seat, and I can't describe how empowering it is to feel the wind in my hair while I'm traveling down an endless highway road with nature and canyons on either side of me. If it wasn't for my job, I don't think I would ever want to own a car. When I finally quit my job, I will hand the company car's keys to my manager and turn away from my work truck without a second thought. I belong on a motorcycle and my motorcycle belongs in my garage.

However, despite my innate and powerful love for my motorcycle, I will agree that there are a few major issues that motorcycle manufacturers have to address in the future. The first issue would be with developing electric motorcycles. I don't want them to be glorified high-speed scooters. I want to own an electric motorcycle that is as fast and effective as a Tesla or a Prius. Well, there are some fast, Exotic, and Inexpensive Motorcycles, that you may want to Get One for Yourself.

The second issue I want to see improved by motorcycle manufacturers is the amount of storage on a motorcycle. Now, I'm not living in a fantasy world. Storage will always be a major issue on a motorcycle since there's no backseat, trunks, or even passenger seat. But I know motorcycle manufacturers can create new attachable devices that allow for at least an extra for storage. It may not sound like a lot to a car or truck driver, but a foot of extra storage can help motorcyclists to store their extra leather jackets, motorcycle rain suit, and a pair of motorcycle riding gloves.

Saddlebags

1 attachable device that can improve the storage capacity on a motorcycle is a saddlebag. Long ago, saddlebags and other motorcycle attachments used to be quite expensive. But thanks to new technology and improved manufacturing, the price of saddlebags have come down and most motorcyclists can afford to attach them to their motorcycles for extra storage.

When you purchase a saddlebag, several features extend how long it lasts and its upkeep. Here are the features you need to look for when you purchase a saddlebag.

Multiple smaller compartments in the larger bags

        Waterproof stitching

Easy to clean, can be wiped down in most cases

        Rainproof

Can fit more than 15 liters of storage in each bag

Before I purchased my saddlebag, I was always juggling with wearing backpacks, purses, and rucksacks. Believe me, I would much rather try to sit on two saddlebags than ever drive across the state carrying all of my items in a backpack on my back. My back still won't forgive me for using a backpack.

No matter how ergonomic your backpack is, it's much easier on your spine, shoulders, and hips to store your items in a saddlebag. Plus, when you use a Saddleback, you will have the storage capacity of 2 backpacks so you can store more important items, like a leather biker vest, and some snacks.

Get Your Gear!

Hopefully, I have convinced you how useful unnecessary saddlebags are. I have three types of saddlebags and I use each one for different occasions. So, hopefully, you are considering which saddlebag you should buy right now. In my opinion, I always love getting saddlebags that have tons of little different compartments so it's easy for me to order my stuff, especially when I'm traveling for days at a time. Before you go out and buy a saddlebag, make sure you have all the appropriate here to keep you safe from the elements and highway accidents.

If you're looking for a great site to find high-quality gear and bags that won't destroy your budget, I suggest you go to WickedStock.com. the prices are excellent, and they always have a sale going on so you're likely to score important gear at a great price. They have a Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram page, so you can see how all of their outfits fit on real people.

Protect Yourself from Death and Maiming with Body Armor

For every one of us who would rather sit on the back of a motorcycle and ride out into the rain instead of sitting in a vehicle, riding is our life. There's no place we would rather be and no vehicle we would rather drive. Once we rev the engine of our bikes and drive out into the sunset, we feel like we can do anything. All we need is a water bottle, a tank full of gas, and our favorite leather motorcycle jacket   and leather motorcycle gloves. Nothing can stop us, and nothing can keep us down.

But it is important to acknowledge that there are some dangerous aspects to motorcycle riding. For starters, if we ride on the back of motorcycles, we have no protection against the elements other than the clothing that we wear. This is why motorcycle riders must wear the correct gear for their climate. Nobody in the North Pacific should ever go out in winter without a snow jacket or waterproof motorcycle pants.

If you lived in Arizona or New Mexico, you had better think twice before leaving the house without motorcycle riding jackets and sunscreen. You could turn into a big red Blister in less than half an hour.

But no matter where you live or where you ride, there are some pieces of motorcycle gear that every single Rider should wear. Everyone must wear a helmet, pants with armor, jackets with armor, wrist and Ankle stabilizer, they should always have a bottle of water with them. Now, there are two other gear pieces that you should add to your motorcycle outfit. The first is a phone mount, and that goes on your motorcycle. The second is body armor.

Why Do You Need Body Armor?

Surprisingly, many people who ride motorcycles don't wear body armor consistently. But you need to add body armor to the list of items you wear whenever you ride. If you wonder, Why We All Need Motorcycle Body Armor, let me tell you that, a well-placed and well-made piece of body armor can be the difference between a bruised rib and a funeral.

But what kind of body armor is out there and what do you need to know about? Here is just a small sample of what you need to know.

First of all, and most obviously, the body armor you wear needs to fit your body. You can't wear a chest piece that is too tight around the waist or chest. Second, you have to look out for armor that has a high impact protection rate. That means that the armor will be able to protect you from the incoming impact in a crash.

The third factor used to watch out for when purchasing body armor is how well it moved in Ben's. If you sit on your motorcycle with your body armor and can't seem to stretch and twist as much as you would normally, then you need to find a more functional piece of gear.

So those are the three factors you need to know when purchasing body armor. As much as you may not want to wear another piece of gear along with all of the clothes you already have to wear, not wearing it could mean life or death.

But maybe wearing isn't your issue. Maybe you just don't want to spend more money. Let's face it, a well-made piece of body armor could fill up your tank with gas two or three times.

So, if money is your issue, then you're going to love our new site called wickedstock.com. We have all kinds of sales happening all year round! Visit our site or our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram page to see all of our customers probably wearing the pieces and equipment we sell. You'll be surprised at how much gear and clothing you can find that fits your style perfectly.
