Our Guide to Motorcycle Gear at Low Prices

The year is now 2021, and the coronavirus has been raging across the Earth for more than eighteen months now. This virus has single-handedly shown the entire world how fragile our economic, political, and social systems are and it also uncovered many lurking problems below the surface or disguised as another issue. Some of these issues are big, and some are small, but they are issues. Unless you're one of the extremely wealthy, every single person has had their life changed because of the pandemic.

Even motorcycles across the country have had to deal with lockdown, the complete health of tourism in many areas, a lack of equipment and parts for their motorcycles add some factories and shops shut down. Many motorcyclists who had big vacations planned with their friends had to cancel them and not see their friends for an entire year. But another problem emerged that not many people considered: the complete lack of well-made motorcycle clothes.

Whether or not you're a motorcyclist, for the first couple months of the pendulum, if no one was able to buy new clothing at brick-and-mortar stores. So, they had to buy clothes online, which is always a headache since you have to deal with sizes and return policies.

What Did Motorcyclists Do?

Well, since many lost their job, they were unable to buy motorcycle gear in the first place. And those who still had a bit of money before Cicero for low-quality motorcycle gear that was not guaranteed to work as it's supposed to. Motorcycle gear is supposed to look good and protect your body part and vital organs in the event of a crash. So that means if a motorcyclist buys low-grade gear, they are practically putting their life at risk.

Remember, Riding Gear Will Keep You Safe during the Coronavirus Pandemic.

What Are Motorcyclists Supposed To Do?

Are they doomed to buy low-quality clothing and hope they don't get into a crash? Or should they leverage their credit cards to be safe while on the road? The answer is simple: They need to find a motorcycle gear shop that has clothing that is both affordable and high-quality.

Motorcycles all over North America can find this store online, and it is called Wickedstock.com. It is one of the most ideal places to find the affordable gear that looks great and lasts for years. This online store has been in operation for more than ten years, so they understand the needs of the average motorcyclist. Now don't think that because released clothing items are so affordable, they're ugly and won't match anything you own. That's not true at all. Whether you're purchasing the motorcycle rain suit or the leather biker vest, every item from the store is guaranteed to make you look like a true biker. Forget about pretty boy motorcyclists in Hollywood movies. We're here for the Hell's Angels and the lone riders who travel for weeks on their bike without talking to a single soul.

Beware the Virus: Motorcycle Riding During the COVID-19 Pandemic

The pandemic has been raging for the last year, and it almost feels like there was no end in sight. Luckily, there are now three or four different vaccines circulating across the globe, and the United States is doing its absolute best to make sure its citizens are all vaccinated by the fall. But just because there is a vaccine out does not mean that the public can forget about safety measures and precautions and live as they did back in 2019. Everyone still has to quarantine and stay away from others until most of the public is vaccinated. This means that motorcyclists must take precautions as well. So how does a rider stay safe while traveling on their motorcycle during the pandemic?

There are a few methods to protect yourself while traveling around town and while you hit the road for an extended ride.

1.  Practice gathering with your motorcycle friends at a safe distance and stay as clean as possible

Now, we understand that not many people want to wear a mask and practice social distancing. But it is in your interest and the interest of your friends and fellow riders if you heed this warning. A virus does not spread by itself. It invades other hosts, like people, and then transfers itself through moisture and breath. If a person contracts coronavirus but then isolates themself in their own home or apartment, then only they will become sick.

But if they contract the virus and then meet with their family and friends, share food with them, share cups and drinks, then dozens of other people will be infected, and those people who are now infected will go on and infect others. So, if you love your family, friends, and fellow riders, you will do what is right and stay away from others.

Please note that there are plenty of Ways to Prevent Contracting Coronavirus While You Ride!

Wearing a simple pair of leather motorcycle gloves will help keep your hands germ-free. Everyone is getting tired of washing their hands to the point where their hands are dry and ashy. But having a barrier between your hands and a public surface will keep you germ-free. Every time you are in public, you must clean your hands with soap and water and then with hand sanitizer. Some people argue it is more important to wash your hands thoroughly than to wear a mask. One reason why washing your hands is vital is that you never know if an infected person touched the handrail, doorknob, items, or handle you are about to touch. While it will not hurt you if it is just on your hand, most people touch their face, and if they rub their eye or touch their lip, they are very likely to contract it.

2.  If you travel somewhere, choose wide open spaces like camping and don't stay indoors for too long, no matter how many people are in the building.

For most people, traveling has come to a house, and there is no way to go anywhere besides the grocery store. But motorcycle riders are more adventurous. There's no problem with venturing out into the open road and exploring parts of the world they have not traveled to. So, if you want to travel anywhere, make sure your destination is a wide-open space where there aren't many people. State Parks, campsites, and cabins are great places to reserve so you can get away. Just slide on your motorcycle protective jacket and grab your hand sanitizer.

These are just some tips that you stay healthy safe until the worldwide pandemic is over. But when this awful situation is finally over, you should still say safe by purchasing high-quality motorcycle protective gear. Nothing will make you regret not spending enough money and then a motorcycle crash. If you want to bug you but do not want to destroy your budget, go to Wickedstock.com. Future Travels: How the Motorcycle Riding World Will Travel after Covid-19 is over

We are finally coming to the end of the pandemic, and I, for one, am so happy. Although the world won't be right until the middle of 2022, the US will be back into shape by the fall. That means motorcycle riders will be able to travel around the country without putting their lives on the line every time they refuel or walk into a gas station. But the world will not be the same after. Permanent changes are expected, and travel and tourism will have to adapt or else. But when will people be able to travel freely within the US and around the world? Will they still be able to wear their best motorcycle leather jacket and ride their motorcycle until they reach the end of the road? Not exactly.

The problem with travel today and for the next year is that vaccinations are not happening everywhere. People who are acquiring their vaccines are mostly in big cities and around the outlying suburbs. So those who are willing to travel have to stick to two areas: big cities and open spaces. Motorcyclists are used to traveling through wide spaces where there is no other human insight. But these spaces are not destinations; just roadways that help them get to their next adventure. They are beautiful, but these places are not entertaining enough to be destinations all on their own. So what does this mean? It means that travel will still be limited for a long time.

If you reside around California, you must check out The Best Motorcycle Road Trip Routes in California.

Will Travel Ever Return To Normal, Or Is It Altered Completely?

Unfortunately, it looks like travel will be completely altered, and it will not return to what life was like in 2019. Too many people now see the many flaws in the old way of doing things. Not only is eating out not as common, but people also want to stay in their homes and send the order in. Catalan Street will be reeling to acquire Taurus again, so they'll be mass discounts. So expect some of your favorite places to be full of people the next year or so. You won't be able to put on your favorite leather biker vest and head over to a small town for a peaceful time. Many small towns had to endure a terrible hit when the government decided not to help their many small businesses and Mom and Pop shops.

What about traveling around the world? Well, it looks like no one can travel for a while. Even if everyone in the US has a vaccine, that does not mean they can travel to a country struggling to vaccinate their people. Vaccines help fight Covid-19; it is not 100% guaranteed protection. So all travelers will have to stick to countries that have more than 75% of people vaccinated. By the end of the year, these countries should be Iceland, Canada, The US, Israel, China, Japan, Ireland, Scotland, and others.

No matter where you go, and when you travel, it is always important to wear great gear to keep you safe and stylish. We understand that many people are doing their best to keep their expenses down, but having the proper gear is necessary. But luckily, Wickedstock.com has a great selection of gear that won't destroy your budget. You can buy reasonably priced gear, and every once in a while, there is a big sale for even more savings. So stop by and see what great new products are on the Featured page, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Potomac Protective Armored Riding Shirt

Two obstacles stand in the way of motorcycle riders every time they jump on the back of their motorcycle. The first obstacle is navigating the roads and watching for pedestrians who act like they have a death wish. Some situations are easy to handle, like driving down a nearly empty highway on a warm sunny day. But if you're stuck in the middle of downtown Houston, New York, or L.A., and you have to fight off pedestrians, drunk drivers, and bicyclists at every red light. Being constantly on edge can be pretty exhausting, and it is one of the biggest downsides to living life as a motorcyclist.

The second obstacle is finding the high-quality, reliable gear you can depend on in the event of an impact or a crash. The worst aspect of testing out new gear is that you won't be able to know if it does its job well until you're flying through the air at 50 miles an hour.

So you need protection that keeps you completely insulated and helps protect your body from the impact of a car, fellow motorcycle, or the ground. But you also need a piece of protective gear that does not come off or shift so much that it does not protect the correct body parts. With these criteria, what piece of gear should you rely on?

Why should you try out an armored riding shirt?

Very few riders have an armored riding shirt, but those who do, can't stop talking about its effectiveness. But what are the benefits of an armored riding shirt, and how will it protect me? Let me tell you that an armored riding shirt is extremely convenient.

No longer will you have to struggle to put on your elbow pads and contour your body in strange ways to get your jacket over your arms and chest. When you have an armored riding shirt, you'll have everything you need woven into the shirt. And everything you have on top of that is just extra protection. Plus, armored riding shirts will have a zipper, so you can easily pull the shirt off and on.

Do I Really Need A Motorcycle Vest or Shirt?

When it gets too hot, you won't have to force it off before you start sweating, and it'll be easy to add underneath your clothes in the wintertime. The grip of the zipper makes it easy to unzip whether or not you're wearing gloves. And Yes, an armored riding shirt pairs perfectly with a beautiful set of leather motorcycle gloves.

And no matter how sweaty you become, you will not have to worry about shrinking your armored shirt in the washer. The mesh fabric is stretchy, so it will not shrink. It dries quickly so you can get back on the road in no time at all.

Can an armored shirt/motorcycle jacket combination maximize your safety?

An armored motorcycle shirt is a full-on long-sleeve designed to protect your torso completely. It will keep your elbows stabilized and protected, and your shoulders will be straight because of shoulder reinforcement. The armored riding shirt can protect your back and spine with its extra padding. First, place the armored shirt on your body, then put on your favorite t-shirt and top it off with a leather motorcycle jacket. This clothing combination is simple, yet you will feel more protected than you ever have felt before.

So, where can you buy a high-quality armored riding shirt you can depend on? You can buy one or more on wickedstock.com! It has a great selection of motorcycle gear, which is high performing and good for your wallet. We have deals and sales regularly, so you don't have to wait for a once a year sale to afford the gear you need.
