Motorcycle Lessons That Your Teenager Needs To Know

Like any other vehicle, riding on a motorcycle is a responsibility. If your child wants to purchase a motorcycle, chances are that there's nothing you can do or say to stop them. As their parent, you can warn them and guide them on the correct way to respect both their vehicle and the road. Here are a few things you are able to teach your child before they ever get on their bike.

Many teenagers prioritize style over safety, but many brown leather motorcycle jackets are both. Have them purchase a motorcycle jacket so they can look great and be safe.

Teach Them About Their Motorcycle

The best way to protect your teenagers against accidents and obvious danger is to educate them. Before your child purchases a motorcycle, help them enroll in a motorcycle class to learn about the vehicle they are riding from an authorized professional. If you drive a motorcycle, arrange for a few days to speak to them seriously about the rules of the road and also educate them about their new vehicle. If someone in your family drives a motorcycle and is a responsible person, introduce your child to them and ask them to educate and teach them.

Do Not Argue With Them. Instead, Provide Alternate Views

If there is one element of this universe that is a constant, it is the stubbornness and Independence of teenagers. If you try to argue with your teenager and tell them not to get a motorcycle, they will only want it more. Instead, you should speak frankly with your teenager and discuss the pros and cons of having a motorcycle. You can show them the after pictures of severe accidents and teach them about real-life scenarios where the motorcycle rider was in trouble because they were fooling around and not paying attention to the road. If all goes well, you will at least educate your child about using a motorcycle. But an honest heart to heart talk may also put them off once they see how easy it is to hurt yourself if you are a new rider.

Reinforce the Importance of Protection

Motorcycle protection is the number one thing anyone can do to keep themselves safe on their bike and reduce the level of injury they receive when they inevitably get into an accident. Before your child ever gets on the motorcycle, you must make sure they have all the equipment they need. This includes motorcycle protective jackets, helmets, proper footwear, leather motorcycle gloves, and anything else they might need. When it rains, do not let them out of the house without rain gear like a motorcycle rain suit. They may argue that purchasing a motorcycle is expensive, but the protective gear is a non-negotiable cost.

So, this a few tips to hopefully help you talk to your teenagers as the adult they are going to be. Arguing with your teenager and forbidding them from purchasing a motorcycle will ensure that they buy one, but they will not go to you for advice and get strange and dangerous advice from terrible sources. And your teenager will not listen to you when you warned them about not having the right motorcycle protective gear. But if you handle their need for a motorcycle correctly, you will be there number one source for advice. Before your child purchase is there bike, remind McKenna they have to have the protective gear, so they are responsible and ready to ride. If you do not have any protective gear, go to www.wickedstock.com so your teenaged can find everything they need and in almost any size.

Wicked Stock Sahara Mesh Motorcycle Jacket Review

[embed]https://youtu.be/KvayFJHuTUk[/embed]

Summer is almost here and you’re going to want to shed that heavy leather jacket. You might want to try one of those Motorcycle Mesh Jackets which suit you best. And when it comes to Summer Men Motorcycle Jackets, the first choice is the Sahara Mesh Motorcycle Jacket from Wicked Stock because it's light and comfortable for hot weather. Let's find out more about the Wicked Stock's Sahara mesh motorcycle jacket.

Features

Sahara is one feature packed mesh riding jacket. It allows tons of airflow through the mesh shell. Comes pre-installed with 5 pieces of CE rated armor for shoulders, elbows and back. It has a generous American cut to it and would allow ample layering underneath if needed. What sets it apart from the rest of the pack is it has a full sleeve removable waterproof liner to keep you nice and dry.

Appearance

Sahara is constructed from 600D polyester Mesh shell with 1680D abrasion resistant material at the shoulders and elbows. It has CE rated armor at the shoulders, elbows and back to protect you just in case you are forced to lay down your motorcycle.

The Sahara features reflective piping up and down both arms and along the back. This will make it easier for other drivers to see you at night. The sleeves have buttoned adjustment points at the biceps and forearms. These allow you to tighten the arms up for a more custom fit when needed.  There is a zipper and Velcro adjustment at the wrist. This is ideal for holding your riding gloves in place.

There are buttoned adjustments on the side, along with a Velcro waist adjustment, allowing you to get a fully custom fit. This Jacket has five pockets in total, to provide you abundant storage of items like cell phones, battery charger, keys, wallets etc.

Cool and Dry

When it comes to Mesh biker jackets, the Sahara is tough to beat. Not only does it offer a fixed mesh interior to keep you nice and cool, even on the hottest summer days, but will also keep you dry when that occasional rainstorm pops up.
The Sahara includes a full- length removable waterproof liner that reaches along both arms and across the chest. This liner can be worn as a separate rain jacket. It offers both a Velcro and zippered front closure, making sure that you stay good and dry. This is 100% waterproofing when needed!

But Wait, There’s More

If all that is not enough, on the inside the fixed mesh liner has four loops, two in front and two in the back. These will hold the jacket down, keeping it from riding up while you are moving along the highway.
The Sahara also has a zipper across the back enabling you to attach it to any riding pants.
Of course, there is ample extra padding across the back to give you more support in case you have to drop your motorcycle.

Will My Mesh Jacket Protect Me???

The warm summer months are almost upon us. That means a whole lot of riding opportunities. But that also means a hot sweaty ride, especially if you’re still wearing that thick leather jacket from the cooler months. In the days of old, when the warmer weather rolled around you would be forced to either take off your heavy leather jacket and ride in just a tee shirt or light windbreaker. Neither one is recommended. You still want that added layer of protection against the rain and the very real possibility of having a mishap on your bike.

The More Inexpensive Natural Alternative

The natural alternative would be Motorcycle mesh jackets. Although these are the more inexpensive motorcycle jackets on the market today, and they do offer protection, the fact is that they provide the least of it in the motorcycle jacket family. So, it would probably be a smart idea to do your due diligence while shopping for one so that you will get the proper liners and protection offered.

Less Protection. Or Just as Much?

Does “less” protection mean you won’t be safe while going to work or enjoying a ride around the countryside? Not necessarily. While mesh motorcycle jackets do not provide the same level of protection as their leather and textile counterparts, they still offer many of the same safety features, but with much better vented airflow, allowing for much more comfort on your summer forays. But the question still remains; will this mesh motorcycle jacket protect you when you are forced to “dump” your bike? Which, in all probability, could very well happen sometime during your riding career.

Well, most all of the mesh motorcycle jackets online available at WICKED STOCK are made of 600 Denier Polyester Fabric or, 600D for short. ‘Denier’ is a unit of measurement used to measure the density or thickness of yarn. The higher the number, the thicker the fabric and hence more protection. 600 Denier has become a standard thickness for motorcycle jackets and pants and provides great abrasion resistance.

The Armored Mesh Jacket

All of the mesh motorcycle jackets available at www.wickedstock.com are equipped with five pre-installed pieces of CE certified armor, strategically placed at the elbows and shoulders. All the jackets come with a half-inch thick back pad. 600 Denier polyester mesh is known as one of the toughest mesh fabrics on the market today. It is well suited for excellent abrasion resistance. So, with 600D, you are protected from scrapes and “road rash” while still maintaining a level of comfort that you wouldn’t have wearing a heavy, bulky leather or textile jacket.

Comfort and Protection

Many mesh motorcycle jackets online have a built-in waterproof breathable liner, to help you stay dry in the rain but, the master designers at WICKED STOCK have taken it a big step further, creating removable thermal liners for some of the jackets. This option will not only keep you warm on a chilly summer evening, but will also allow you to get some use out of your mesh motorcycle jacket in the spring and early fall. And, since we are talking about safety. There is also the idea of riding at night. Our great designers have added enough Hi-Viz stripes and reflective panels so you can be seen and noticed on the road.

Now if you’re ready to shop for your mesh motorcycle jackets online, come on over to www.wickedstock.com. We have a wide variety of motorcycle mesh jackets to choose from. And we always offer Free Shipping and Free Returns. So, you just can’t go wrong. And you will be more than ready to be comfy & cozy while out enjoying your favorite pastime.
